Avolition on a Summer Day

You're just shocking me
Putting out my flame with your cold
As I close my eyes with you over my eyes
And cast a slight shade on this prescribed world.

The lights beam, my eyes gleam,
I partake in standing and fall drunken.
The picturesque world fades into perfection
My vision, into squares describes my heart.

The hearth and hearty warm
Of frustrated fever comes over me
I shake off the waves and shades

And throw away you, old pair of eyeglasses.
